Carrollton, Texas - In Loving Memory of Tara Daigle Braconnier, January 29th, 1957 - May 24th, 2026.

It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Tara D. Braconnier, 69, of Carrollton, Texas. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, family member, and beloved friend, Tara passed away peacefully at her home on May 24, 2026, at 8:33 PM.

Born Tara Ann Daigle on January 29, 1957, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she was the second daughter of Myrtle Glynn Page and Joseph Charles Daigle, Jr. She grew up in Baton Rouge, enjoying summers with her aunts, uncles, siblings, and cousins at the family camp in Pierre Part, Louisiana. Tara attended Broadmoor High School and worked in customer service at Godchaux's Department Store. Commuting daily to Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana, she self-financed her education and earned a bachelor's degree in finance.

Tara moved to Dallas in 1980 and began her career at Fina, where she quickly made an impact in the payroll department and was promoted to supervisor within two years. She later joined EDS, expanding her talents and collaborative skills alongside management and peers across the financial organization. Throughout corporate mergers and transitions—from EDS, GM, HP, Veritas, and ultimately Peraton, alongside her new team members integrated from Northrop Grumman—Tara brought a sense of family and camaraderie to a diverse, geographically separated team.

While mergers and acquisitions brought complex new financial tools and structural challenges, Tara quickly mastered them. She developed specialized workflows and integrated them into her own custom Excel "Smart" spreadsheets, which she used to cross-reference the "book of record." Her meticulousness ensured absolute accuracy before numbers were rolled up to managers and stakeholders. She dedicated over 30 years of her career to ensuring every financial "close" was completed on time, seamlessly transitioning the very next day to preparing forecasting reports for the next cycle.

Above all, Tara was a devoted wife and a steadfast rock for 43 years—a beautiful time that passed way too quickly. As a sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt, she found immense joy in spending time with her extended family and friends. She loved traveling to see her two grandsons, who deeply adored their "Mimi."

Her warm presence, loving spirit, and unique ability to bring people together shone brightly during large family gatherings, where the focus quickly shifted from delicious food to competitive board games, and then to planning the next big meal.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Myrtle Page; step-mother-in-law, Frederika Braconnier; husband, Scott Braconnier; daughter, Erin Braconnier; and two grandsons, Adrian Moye and Jude Moye. She also leaves behind her siblings, Karen Johnson, Cecile Kemp, Jamie Kallgren, Charles Daigle, and Gary Daigle, as well as many dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they created together.

Though Tara is no longer with us in person, her spirit, compassion, and legacy of love remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

Memorial Service: Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM, Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5100 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, Texas 75093.

A reception and gathering of family and friends will follow the service to continue celebrating the vibrant light that was Tara and the legacy she left behind.
