St. Francisville, LA - Steve A. Guillory, 53, of St. Francisville, was a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend whose greatest joy was telling stories and spending time with his family and friends. He shared 27 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Cheryl, and was a proud father to his children, Alaina, 24 and Brayden, 20. After a courageous year-long battle with cancer, Steve's passing on Sunday, July 19, 2026, came unexpectedly as he experienced severe complications from his illness while returning home from his family's annual vacation. Even while undergoing treatment, Steve remained committed to making memories and enjoying life throughout his illness. Steve is survived by his wife, Cheryl Jenkins Guillory; his daughter, Alaina; his son, Brayden; many family members, and lifelong friends who will continue to honor his memory. In death, he was met by his parents, Delta and Carol Guillory; brothers, Donald and Scott Guillory, sister-in-law, Kay Guillory, nephews, Kevin Guillory and Jeffery Lamana, and niece, Melissa Guillory. Family and friends invite those who knew Steve to celebrate his life on Friday, July 24th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church Hall from 9AM until 11:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at noon. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Catholic Church Cemetery. Steve's legacy will live on in those he loved and in the many things he built or "repaired".
