Shirley Tennart entered into eternal rest at her residence in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on March 11, 2025. She was a 75-year old native of Baker, Louisiana. Viewing at Miller & Daughter Mortuary on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 9:00 am until Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 am; entombment at Heavenly Gates. Survivors include her children, Amanda Polintan, Leroy Jr. (Veronica) and Brian Tennart (Camika) all of Baton Rouge, Alvin (Pat), Christopher (Janice), and Darius Jackson (Fatrice Williams), all of Baker, Louisiana; 18 grandchidlren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter; siblings, David Jackson, Jr., Rosia Brown and Syncer "Pat" Johnson (Gregory); preceded in death by her parents; seven siblings; and a grandson.
