Austin, TX - Shirley Cleta Webb Evans, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on October 30, 1939, in Baton Rouge, LA, she spent her life creating cherished memories and leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. With a heart full of kindness, patience and love, she found joy in the simple but meaningful things: sewing intricate pieces with care, nurturing her garden full of beautiful flowers and cooking meals that brought comfort to her family. She shared countless laughter-filled nights playing cards with friends, and her greatest happiness was the time spent surrounded by loved ones.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Meskauskis (Brian), and Jeannine Val Divia (David); grandchildren, Nicolas and Brooklyn; brother, Louis Webb, III (Teresa); niece, Julie Beaumont; nephew, Brent Webb; great-nieces, Audry and Natalie; and great-nephews, Brandon and Cody, who will forever treasure her warmth and unwavering love. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Evans; and parents, Esther and Louis Webb Jr. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1pm until the time of funeral services at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
