Walker, LA - Sherri Lynn Davis, born January 22, 1964, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Ernest and Geraldine Davis Sr., passed away on October 9, 2025, while peacefully surrounded by loved ones. She will be remembered for her strong faith and her commitment to her family, friends, and church. She will be remembered for her generosity towards others. And she will be remembered for her larger-than-life laugh that could fill any room.
Sherri is survived by her two daughters, Paige and Sykara Picquet; four grandchildren, Radley Taylor, Unique, Admire, and Chance Houn; one great-grandchild, Reign Taylor; and eight siblings, Ernest (Sylvia) Jr., Diedra, James Sr., Brian (Deadra) Sr., and Eric (Doreen) Davis Sr., Lorraine (Carlton) Williams, Doreen (Danny) Martin, and Wayne (Tanya) Ragas Sr; She was preceded in death by her sisters, Detrice Williams & Wanda Jane Davis;and her grandson, Prince Zachary. She will be missed by a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, and loved ones. Visitation will be held at Kingdom Life Family Center, 8894 Airline Hwy Suite C, Baton Rouge, LA 70815 on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., with funeral services immediately following. Burial will take place at St.Mark Cemetery. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to family, friends, caregivers, Trinity Personal Care Services, and Audubon Hospice for their support and compassion.
