Sharon Fairchild Obituary

Woodville, MS - Sharon Fairchild passed away at the age of 78 peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones. She was a native of Woodville, MS and a longtime resident of Denham Springs, LA. Sharon was the beloved mother of two: Victoria Jordan Guitreau (Patrick) and Matthew Jordan (Kristy) and the cherished grandmommy of three grandchildren she adored: Lauri Jordan, James Michael Jordan, and Chloe Guitreau. This amazing lady was a graduate of USM with a love for animals (especially cats), books, and Diet Coke, but nothing was more valuable to her than her family and friends whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. Her kindness and compassion knew no bounds and words cannot express just how special she was.

She was preceded in death by her parents James Hayden Fairchild and Celeste Sibley Fairchild, son Clay Hayden Jordan, brother Charles Henry Fairchild, and life-long best friend Kathleen Daly. She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Maudell Hill (Jamie), Abigail Weaver (Dick) and her sister-in-law Peggy Fairchild. Sharon is also survived by additional family members Rocky Jordan (Mary) and Travis Jordan Fuller.

Family and friends are invited to attend her celebration of life on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from noon to two at Seale Funeral Home located at 1720 S. Range Ave. in Denham Springs, LA. In lieu of flowers, her children ask that you instead consider donating to the American Diabetes Association at https://donors.diabetes.org/.
