Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Sean Christopher Howell passed away on June 19, 2025. He was born in New Orleans on June 7, 1966, and was a resident of Baton Rouge. He graduated from Catholic High School and Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Basic Sciences, and also graduated from The University of Louisiana Monroe with degree in Pharmacy. Sean worked as a pharmacist, a substitute teacher, and as a tutor. He had a great interest in science and horticulture. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Sean is survived by his parents, Joseph Kerry Howell, M.D. and Corinne Trout "Connie" Howell; brother, Todd Patrick Howell, M.D.; nephew, Grayson Alexander Howell; niece, Ashlynn Renee Howell; and aunt, Carol Moloney Howell. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucien A. Howell, Sr., Juliet P. Howell, Horace I. Trout, Jr., and Omye V. Trout; and uncle, Lucien A. Howell, Jr. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Ethan Greenblatt and the doctors and nurses of the Baton Rouge General ICU.
