Zachary, LA - Scott Michael Beard, a resident of Zachary, passed away on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026. He was 51 years old and was employed with Woman's Hospital as an Epic Solutions Architect. Rite of Christian Burial will be at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026 at 130pm. Memorial Visitation will be from 2pm until 4pm. He is survived by his parents, Pat and Cecilia Beard, brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Mary Helen Beard and his best friend and faithful companion of 30 years, Connie Rivere. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilson and Mac Beard and Kirby and Gladys Goudeau and aunt, Linda Naul.
