Baker, La - Savanna Broussard, 80, of Baker, LA passed away on June 26, 2026, she was born on August 29, 1945, in Baker, LA. Savanna was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Known for her cooking, hairstyling and guiding wisdom. Savanna is

survived by her three children: Shanna of Houston, Tx., Paul, Jr. (Leah) of Baton Rouge, LA, and Tellis Broussard, Sr.(Tameka) of Houston, Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Willie and Georgia Williams, her husband of over fifty years Paul Broussard, Sr, and her siblings George, Ruth, John, David, Emma, and Thelma. She was a retired EBR bus driver and licensed cosmetologist. Savanna enjoyed growing plants and flowers, preparing delicious and highly anticipated meals for her family and all who stopped by to visit, fishing, sewing and being in style. Services will be held at Little Zion Baptist Church on Friday, July 10, 2026, viewing from 10am, with the funeral to follow at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Zion Baptist Church. She will be lovingly remembered for her steadfast faith, her

passion for cooking, and her selfless, heroic spirit as the cherished matriarch of her family.
