BATON ROUGE, LA - Rev. Dr. Sadie May Boyd Fowler, a devoted woman of faith, peacefully entered eternal rest at 8:03 am Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 82. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Oneita Houston Boyd, a native of New Roads, LA and resident of Baton Rouge.

She faithfully served on the ministerial staff at Mount Carmel Baptist Church as an Associate Minister and a dedicated member of various ministries. She was a founding and active member of Louisiana Area Women in Ministry "LAWIM".

Visitation 9:00am until service at 11:00am, Saturday, May 16th, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 5262 Prescott Road. Interment at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Survived by daughters, Wanda Boyd, Marilyn Rembert, Pamela Bezue and son; Edward S. Perkins, III.
