Gonzales, LA - Ronald L. Causey, a resident of Gonzales, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2026. He was 77 years old and a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Memorial Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 5pm until 8pm. Burial will be at Louisiana National Cemetery at 11am on Friday, May 22, 2026. Ronnie was cherished and beloved by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dianne Causey. A daughter, Nicolette Krause and husband, David and a son, Joel Causey and wife, Crystal. A sister, Brenda Brown. 2 brothers, Gary Causey and wife, Cindy and Doug Causey and wife, Mary. 5 grandchildren, Brittni Rayborn, Matthew and Nicholas Fugarino and Alyssa and Jordan Causey, 8 great grandchildren, Kearstin, Alaynah, Laniyah, T.J., Tyson, Skye, D'Money, and D'Major and 1 great great grandchild, Kyson Garig. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sybil Causey. Your life was a blessing and your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
