Addis, LA - Peggie Marino Parker, native of Plaquemine, resident of Addis, born September 15, 1955, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Married to Jerry Godfrey Parker for 49 years. She is survived by her husband and children, Jennifer Tullier (Kacey), Nicole Miller (Eric), and Jerry Matthew Parker (Michelle); 8 grandchildren, Tyler Albert (Bryanne), Dexter Tullier, Chris Miller, Shawn Miller, Alex Miller, Logan Parker, Landon Parker and Lucas Parker; a sister, Sylvia M. Hernandez (Claude); friend of 60 years, Denise D. Roberts; 2 nieces, Marina H. Traylor (Chris) and Angela Kerne (Andy); great-nieces and nephew, Madison Brown, Ashton Kerne and Addison Kerne. Peggie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles "Bay" and Ruby Gisler Marino; brother, Charles Marino Jr.; father and mother-in-law, Jerry T. and Mary M. Parker; and a friend of many years, Karon M. Rasberry. Peggie enjoyed crocheting in her spare time and would gift many of her items to family and friends. Visitation will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly on Tuesday, July 14th, from 10:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m., celebrated by Rev. Jason Palermo. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Pallbearers will be her 8 grandsons. The family would like to thank Ochsner Oncology Department and supporting staff, and Comfort Care Hospice.
