Greenwell Springs, LA - Patti Lee Guedry passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, just shy of her 72nd birthday.

Patti was born on August 17, 1953, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Patti dedicated her life to serving others—most notably through her decades-long career as a beloved teacher and coach. She taught adapted physical education, physical education, and kindergarten, and coached for over 30 years. Patti inspired and mentored generations of students and players, many of whom credit her with shaping their lives both on and off the field. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Stan Guedry; daughters: Brandi Austin (Josh), Sherri Guedry (Katie), and LeeAnn Guedry (Lynn); grandchildren: Bailey, Adrianna, Caden, August, and Hendrix; and great-grandchild Asher; sisters Brenda Odom and Cindy Jeffers-Delaughter. Patti is preceded in death by her siblings Jeff Jeffers, Terri Jeffers and granddaughter Sloan. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to St. Joseph Hospice for their compassion and care during Patti's final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patti's memory to Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area. A visitation for Patti will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus, 13940 Greenwell Springs, Greenwell Springs, Louisiana 70739, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM.
