Central, Louisiana - Pamela Franks Bowers, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 79 in Central, Louisiana. Born on August 15, 1946, in Winnfield, Louisiana, to Lonnie and Jessie Mae Franks, she dedicated her life to the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. She was known for her warmth, resilience, and sharp wit.
Pam is survived by her four children: Michele Gulotta, Jeff, Jay Smith, Vernon, Tre' Bowers, and Chris Bowers. She had six grandchildren: Seth Gulotta, Stevie, Andrew Gulotta, Kyle Bowers, Zane Bowers, and Zoe Bowers. She also had two great-grandchildren: Waylon and Wade Gulotta. Additionally, she leaves behind a niece, Wendy Renfrow, and a nephew, Wesley Warren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bowers, sister Martha Ann Warren, parents Lonnie and Jessie Mae Franks, and grandson Jeffrey Joseph Gulotta.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
