Gainesville, GA - Mr. Michael David Brown, 64, of Gainesville, passed away February 19, 2025.

A Meet & Greet, Mass, Blessing of the Ashes, and Inurnment at Green Oaks will begin Tuesday, May 6th at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave, Baton Rouge, LA, followed by inurnment at Green Oaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA.

Born November 8, 1960, in Baton Rouge to Ruth Elswirth Brown & the late, great Orland Morgan Brown, Mike worked as an engineer & #1 estimator with ACT Mitigation and was of the Catholic faith.

Preceded in death by his father Orland "PawPaw" Brown; sister Catherine Brown; "Uncle D" Darrell Normand; and his beloved Puppy Girl.

Survived by his wife LaDonna; daughter Kalan; and son David, all of Gainesville; mother Ruth of Baton Rouge; sister Sandy Clark of Zachary; brother Mark Brown & Stephen Brint of Aspen; nieces/nephews Melissa & Vince Walker, Christin & Andrew Bayer, Katie & Patrick Haynes; great-nieces/nephews Catherine Walker, Michael Bayer, Ruth Bayer, Mary Morgan Bayer, Henry & Anna Haynes; the Braud, Toups & Normand families; sister-in-law Angele Zack; nephews Kevin Raysom, James Wilton; niece Lillian Lejeune; and many other loving relatives.
