Plaquemine, LA - Margaret Evelyn Comeaux Bunch passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Legacy Nursing Home in Plaquemine, surrounded by her daughters. She was 87 and a lifelong resident of Plaquemine. Margaret Evelyn took pride in her role as wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a homemaker who filled her home with love. She enjoyed dancing and listening to country music. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Monday, August 3rd, from 9 a.m. until Rite of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., conducted by Deacon Bob McDonner. Entombment will follow in Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum. Margaret Evelyn is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Capt. Kenneth A. Bunch; father, Roy J. Comeaux; mother, Marjorie Pitre Comeaux Haynes; brothers, James E. Comeaux and Daniel J. Comeaux.
