Lula Wallace Anderson, a resident of Zachary, LA, earned her heavenly wings on Tuesday, March 04, 2025 at her residence. She was 101 years old. Lula leaves to live out her legacy her three daughters Emma A. Williams of Cincinnati, OH, Daisy A. Paul and Vivian A. Bennett of Zachary, LA; son Hardy Anderson of Zachary, LA; one sister-in-law Daisy Square of Zachary, LA; one daughter-in-law Claudia Simon Anderson of Baton Rouge, LA; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, her son, her parents, two great grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers-in-law, and one son-in-law. Visitation will be held at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 22911 Reames Road, Zachary, LA 70791 on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and resume Friday March 14, 2025 9:00 am until Homegoing celebration at 11:00 am conducted by Rev Dr Perry Jones Jr. Interment will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery. Arrangements by Richardson Funeral Home, Clinton, LA.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
