Baton Rouge, LA - Louella Miles Burton entered into eternal rest at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on October 2, 2025. She was a 93-year old native and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Viewing at Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 9:00 am until Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 am conducted by Rev. Samuel Pierre; interment at Southern Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her only child, Brenda Burton Franklin; one godchild Lloyd Young Jr., siblings Tracey Young and Richard Banks; three grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends; preceded in death by her parents, Florida and James C. Miles, Sr.; siblings Betty Walker and James C. Miles, Jr.; great-grandsons, Jacob Jones and Rodney Franklin. Arrangements entrusted to Miller & Daughter Mortuary.
