Burleson, TX - Lola Elaine Micklin (Grinde) native of Sisseton, South Dakota and recent resident of Burleson, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the age of 90. Lola loved her family and friends. She loved spending time with all of them. She had a strong relationship with Jesus! She loved being a homemaker and later as her children got older, she went back to work. Her favorite job was at the police department. She loved to tell her family stories about what went on there. She was fun loving and would give you the shirt off her back. If you needed her, she'd be there. She is survived by her children, Ronald Matthew Micklin and wife Debi, Laura Anne Hattaway and husband Bruce, Loren Edwin Micklin and wife Llona, and Adelle Cecille Magnuson and husband John; 15 grandchildren, Justin, Benjamin, Audrey, Sherisse, Brandy, Bruce, Briana, Brittany, Garrett, Reed, Christopher, Claire, Alexandra, Matthew, and Nicholas; 24 great-grandchildren; one sister, Gloria Hosmun; and numerous nieces and nephews

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Vernon Micklin; parents, Edwin and Laura; and stepmother, Bess. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
