Brusly, LA - Lance B. Cropper, born February 8, 1942 in Plaquemine, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the age of 83 at West Towne. He was a resident of Brusly. Lance retired from Dow Chemical as a Material Controller after 31 years. Visiting will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly, on Monday, June 16, from 10:30 a.m. until Rite of Christian Burial at 12 p.m., conducted by Deacon Bob McDonner. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Lance is survived by his wife of 37 years, Margaret Tuminello Cropper; children, Brian Cropper, Devin Cropper and wife Kelli, Terri T. Gauthe and husband Tod, Amanda T. Pitre, William "Billy" Tullier II and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Daniel Cropper, Devyn Cropper, Brianna Dugas (Clayton), Karlie Gauthe (Christian), Tod Gauthe II (Casey), Tyler Tullier, Trent Tullier (Maddie), Tate Tullier, and Macie Pitre; great-grandchildren, Nathan Dugas, Claire Dugas, Colton Gauthe and Wrenley Tullier; sister, Maureen C. Perry and husband Cleve; sister-in-law, Sylvia Melancon. Lance was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Cropper; mother, Maude Cecil Falcon; brothers, Lawrence Melancon and Clarence J. Cropper. Lance was a former member of the St. John Father's Club. He loved Cruisin' on the Coast and his antique cars.
