Kenneth M. Broussard ("Kenny") Obituary

Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Kenneth M. "Kenny" Broussard passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge. He was 78.

A native and resident of Baton Rouge, he graduated from Glen Oaks High School and was a retired conductor for the Illinois Central Gulf/Canadian National Railroad. Kenny was a Navy veteran, who served in the "Silent Service" during the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley J. and Mayme Barcelona Broussard. Kenny is survived by his devoted wife, Beverly R. Broussard; their daughter, Carly McConnell; and his sisters, Gayle B. Oubre and Vicki B. Bryant.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. A Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
