Baton Rouge, LA - Joseph "Joe" Louis St. Romain, Jr. entered into eternal rest on September 9,2025, at his residence due to a sudden heart attack. He was just two weeks shy of his 60th birthday. Joe was born September 23, 1965, in Baton Rouge to Joseph Louis Sr. and Brenda Acosta St. Romain. He is survived by his mother, Brenda Acosta St. Romain, sister Melinda Marshall (Rick), step-mother, Cathy St. Romain, stepsister Amy Nebel (Charles), and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.Joe was a passionate fan of all sports and a lover of all music. He loved cooking, gardening and working in the yard. One characteristic well known by those that knew him was that once he was your friend, he was your friend for life. A true people-person, his full body laugh, and smile would engage you instantly. He will be missed by his special lifelong friends and loved ones. His faith carried him through life, and his caring spirit will be felt forever. Joe is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Louis St. Romain, Sr., paternal grandparents Clovis and Noelie St. Romain and maternal grandparents Honore and Clara Acosta. Burial will be a private graveside service.
