Baton Rouge, LA - Jonnie Lu Kleinpeter passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the age of 80. She lived a beautiful, faith filled life, and was loved by all who knew her. She prayed the Rosary daily and was gracious in all that she did. She was known for her willingness to host many a dinner for friends and parties for all occasions. Those who knew her well were amused and enamored by her love of all things monkey! One of the true highlights was her time spent in New Orleans especially Mardi Gras season. She was a true reveler, yet so graceful in everything she did. She truly was a Beautiful Lady inside and she will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Lucille DeArmond; and her sister, Joyce McIntire. She is survived by her loving family members, many dear friends, and her exceptional care givers. At her request, a visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. until Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
