James "Jim" Andrew Daily Obituary

Baton Rouge, Louisiana - James "Jim" Daily, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born April 5, 1938, to M. Lawrence and Alberta Daily in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. James attended Roman Catholic High School and St. Joseph's University. He also served in the United States National Guard and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Jim found great joy in the outdoors, especially through his lifelong hobbies of hunting and fishing. These pastimes provided many cherished memories with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, M. Lawrence and Alberta Daily; sisters, Mary Jane Daily SSJ, Suzy Oakes, and Lynne Atkinson; and brothers, Jerome Daily and Mark Daily. He is survived by his sisters, Kate Ferris, Jeane Bryson, and Adrienne Daily; brother, Michael Daily; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to James' caretaker, Linda Williams, and Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane in Baton Rouge.
