Baton Rouge, La. - James R. Alex Jr., age 84, a native of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away March 27, 2026. He was born November 27, 1941, to the late James Alex Sr. and Leola Levingston.
He is survived by his wife, Sherlyn Alex; children, Tenoa (Daphne) Alex, Nichol Rowley of Zachary, LA and Sharon Alex of Desoto TX.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Greater Greene Chapel A.M.E. Church, 1232 N. 32nd St., Baton Rouge, LA 70802
