Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Jacqueline "Jackie" Fournet Daughtry peacefully passed on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the age of 88. She married her high school sweetheart, Jimmy Daughtry, and they raised their five daughters, centered on faith and strong family values. Jackie is survived by her daughters, Dale Oufnac (Mike), Teddy Brumfield (Joey), Marcia Blanchard (Chuck), Beth Ellis (Chuck), and Tootie Lee (Ricky); sisters, Kathy Hains (Johnny) and Suzanne Sexton (Gray); brother, Marc Fournet (Karen); grandchildren, Chris Oufnac (Sheila), Amanda Thrasher (Zeb), Jennifer Oufnac, Victor Brumfield (Holly), Kendra Leger (Ryan), Madeline Gugich (George), Charles Blanchard (Hillary), Brooke Sabadie (Chad), Chase Ellis, Hunter Lee (Garret), and Hanna Naquin (Tyler); and 19 great-grandchildren she adored. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jimmy Roy Daughtry; parents, Pearl and Walter Fournet, Jr.; brother, Walter Fournet, III; nephew, Michael Fournet; niece, Eileen Hains Lonergan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James Daughtry and Rosalie Daughtry; and sister-in-law, Mary Whittle. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Jackie's life on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Ln, Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Following the Mass, family and friends are invited to gather at the Church Activity Center. The family requests that attendees honor Jackie by wearing bright and uplifting colors. A private family burial will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
