Harold Edwards Amos III ("Bo") Obituary

Lafayette, Louisiana - Harold Edwards "Bo" Amos, III, age 62, of Lafayette, Louisiana, passed away on April 14, 2026. Bo was born on December 4, 1963 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Edwards Amos, Jr. and Barbara Breaux Amos. Bo is survived by his sisters, Liz Autin and Lynda Leigh Rich, his nieces and nephews, Aaron Elsea, Daniel Elsea (Katie), Alex Autin (Rose), Anna Weilbaecher (Wyatt), and Avery Smith (Jacob), and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack, Amelia, Beau, and Genevieve. Bo is also survived by the most loyal friends a man could have, especially Danielle Chapman Gremillion, Doug and Angel Tettleton, and of course his dog, Happy.

Bo was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, graduated Broadmoor High School in 1982, and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. He was always passionate about cars, trucks, and virtually any mode of transportation known to man. There wasn't a car or truck or any vehicle he couldn't tinker with. He was a natural born comedian and always had a story to share that would leave you in stitches.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bo's life at a gathering to be held at The Station Sports Bar and Grill, 4608 Bennington Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70808, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Please join us to share stories, laughter, and fond memories.
