Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Rev. Gus H. Washington Jr. entered into eternal rest on March 27, 2026. A native of Baton Rouge, Gus proudly served as pastor of St. Luke Baptist Church for more than 27 years. He is survived by his wife, two children, brother, and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 9-11 a.m. at Israelite Baptist Church, followed by a religious service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow. Services entrusted to Hall Davis & Son Funeral Service.
