Gonzales, LA - Gloria Helen Aime Berthelot (February 7, 1935 - February 12, 2026) of Gonzales passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Born in Head of Island, Louisiana, to Peter J. Aime and Estelle Brignac Aime, she earned a Psychology degree from LSU and built a distinguished career in corporate leadership before serving by gubernatorial appointment with the Louisiana Board of Review. A devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, she was also a community tennis leader, Sr. Olympics Gold medal winner, and founder of the Ascension Tennis Association. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Howard, four children, ten grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. Visitation: February 27, 9-11 a.m.; Mass at 11 a.m., Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Amant.
