Baton Rouge, LA - Gary T. Roussel passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born June 28, 1948 in Murphysboro, IL. Gary and his family moved to Baton Rouge, LA when he was a young child. He was a graduate of Redemptorist High School, class of 1966. Gary worked for LA DCFS until he retired, and then thoroughly enjoyed his retirement years. He is survived by his sister, Brenda Roussel Fryoux; niece, Candy Fryoux Wells; nephew, Raymond A. Fryoux, Jr.; and close friends, Dana Hook and Brian Parent. A private family service was held as per his wishes.
