Frank Goloforo Sr., 89, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in Gonzales, LA. Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Barbara MaGill Goloforo and his youngest son, Russell Goloforo. Frank was the son of the late Mike Goloforo and Mary Kurtz. He is survived by his four children: Deborah Goloforo Spurgeon (Charles), Frank Goloforo Jr. (Elizabeth), David Goloforo, Michael Goloforo (Anna). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren, and sisters Carol Williams, Linda Bocklud, and Marion Guidry. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Zina Domino Goloforo; sister, Jo Ann Melerine-Vicknair; and brothers, Steve Salisbury and Larry Kurtz. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie, LA, at 12:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
