We grieve the loss of Eliot Motlow. Eliot was born in Lexington, KY to John Perry Motlow and Carolyn (Lyn) Trueblood Russell Motlow. He grew up primarily in Baton Rouge, LA. He attended Mckinley Middle School, Baton Rouge High School and graduated from Mckinley Senior High in 1990. He graduated from Illinois College and Indiana University School of Law. He then returned to Baton Rouge where he started a business and a family. In 2018, his children moved to live with him in Lake Leelanau, Michigan.
He passed away after a long illness at the Hospice House of Munson Hospital in Traverse City, MI. He is survived by his wonderful children James Motlow, John Morgan Motlow and Caroline Motlow, his mother Lyn Motlow and his sister, Ferrell Motlow. He was predeceased by his father John Perry Motlow in 2016. He will be missed.
A memorial will be held in Suttons Bay, Michigan in August.
