Zachary, LA - Dale Edward Gray, a resident of Zachary, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 92 years, 2 months, 1 week and 1 day old. He was retired from Georgia Pacific. Visitation will be on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary from 6pm until 8pm. Visitation continues Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Zachary Church of Christ from 1030am until service at 1130am. Burial will be in Louisiana National Cemetery. He is survived by his children, Dan E. Gray and wife, Tina; Donna Gray Brown and husband, Ricky, and Doug Gray and wife, Denise Jelks Gray. Brother, David Gray and wife, Linda. Grandchildren, Danny E. Gray, Deidre Gray Mansur, Dana Brown Sanchez, Jason B. Brown, Clint E. Gray, Danielle Gray O'Neil. Great Grandchildren, Drake Mansur, Shelby Mansur, Bryson Sanchez, Brady Sanchez, Walker Brown, Lilah Gray, Deacon Gray, Aiden O'Neil and Alex O'Neil, Shelbie, Tyler, and Hudson Brian. Dale is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Grace Milburn Gray and his parents, William Curtis and Matina Edna Gray. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be his great grandsons. Dale was a devout Christian and a member of Zachary Church of Christ for over 60 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
