Brusly, LA - Charles "Chuck" Curtis Bezet, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at his home in Brusly, at the age of 57. He was a native and lifelong resident of Brusly. Chuck was a machinist with Industrial Parts Specialties LLC. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen on Wednesday, July 8th, from 5 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday, July 9th, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Steve Chadwick and Rev. Troy Romig. Entombment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Mausoleum in Brusly. Pallbearers will be Billy Deshotel, Jesse Peavy, Jon Barbier, Phillip Deshotel, Barry Daigle, Todd Leray. Honorary pallbearers will be Mikey Rayburn, Landon Martinez, Easton Bezet, Jeremy "Frog" Bezet. Chuck is survived by his father, Charles Curtis "Curt" Bezet Sr.; brother, Jeremy "Frog" Bezet; daughters, Savannah Bezet Rayburn and husband Christopher "Mikey" Jr., and Emily Bezet; grandchildren, Easton Bezet and Eloise Rayburn; honorary grandchildren, Dylan and Allie Behrnes, Ava Grace Franklin. Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia "Pat" King Bezet. Chuck was a member of Red Diamond Hunting Club. He spent his free time at the ballpark supporting his daughters and his grandson. Chuck enjoyed hunting, baling hay with his dad, spending time with his friends and cooking.
