Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Obituary

Brenda Harris Johnson was born on April 2, 1951. She passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, at the age of 74. She was the second born child of the late Gloria Coats Harris and Robert D. Harris.

She leaves to continue her legacy: three daughters, Dawn J. Matthews(Leroy), Marva C. Harris, both of Loganville, GA; Ashley H. Carter(Darrell) of Zachary, LA; seven grandchildren, DeMarcus Matthews, DeCobie Matthews, Maya Gloria Lampkin and Alexiya Matthews, all of Loganville, GA.; Christopher Pittman, Jr., Daijah M. Carter and Addyson D. Carter, all of Baton Rouge, LA; and a host of other relatives.

Preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, Rita H. Payne, brother, Reginald "Bean" Harris.
