Baton Rouge, LA - Beverly Ann Blanchard Mooney entered her eternal rest on August 28, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 91. Beverly was born on August 10, 1935, to Edward Hubert Blanchard and Eugenie Aleman Blanchard in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up a proud New Orleanian and Louisianan. She was the third of four daughters. She attended Catholic schools and graduated from The Academy of the Sacred Heart. She took immense pride in her Catholic faith and traditions. She greatly enjoyed traveling with her husband to many destinations within Europe and the United States. On May 5, 1957, she married Charles Lee Mooney, her loving husband of 66 years. She was devoted to her family, raising her four sons as a stay-at-home mother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Eugenie; husband, Charles; son, Gary; sister, Yvonne Sallinger; brothers-in-law, Richard Sallinger and Burton Faucheux; and daughter-in-law, Lena Mooney. She is survived by three of her sons, Greg Mooney (Lisa) of Hockley, Texas, Mark Mooney, and Brad Mooney; daughter-in-law, Sue Mooney; grandchildren, Nicole Bankester, Michael Mooney, Kimberley Neuroth (William), Charlie Mooney, John Mooney, Beth Mooney, Patrick Mooney (Lexi), and Jordyn Mooney; and great-grandchildren, Nya Mooney, Steven Bankester, Aurora Mooney, Thomas Mooney, and Emma Neuroth. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Beverly's life on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Resthaven Funeral Home. All will be welcome at 9:00 AM until a Memorial Service at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. If so desired, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital may be made in Beverly's memory in lieu of flowers.
