Barbara "Bobbie" Jean Delaune, 87 years old, beloved Mother, Spouse, and Daughter, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on December 5, 1937, born to Melanie and Clay Jarreau, in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. Barbara loved cooking, music, dancing and spending time with her family. Barbara is survived by her sons, Daryl Provost (Crystal) and Richard Provost (Julie); daughter, Cynthia Bordelon (Willen); and one very special step-grandson, Jerry Hussey. Barbara is preceded in death by her three wonderful husbands; Willie Provost Jr, Earl Moreau, and Raymond Delaune; father, Clay Jarreau; mother, Melanie Jarreau; brother, CJ Jarreau; sister[s], Eve Kelly, Juanita Hutchinson, Ethel Kelly, Dorothy Louque, and Marie Martin. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring staff of Grace Health and Rehab and Hospice of Baton Rouge for their compassionate care of Barbara during her last few years. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
