Marseilles, IL - Arthur "AJ" Evans, 71 of Marseilles, IL, passed away on March 27, 2026, after a battle with cancer. AJ was born on August 25, 1954 in Baton Rouge to Clara (Lambert) and William Evans. He was a graduate of Glen Oaks Highschool. He retired as a Pipefitter from Local 597 (IL) and Local 198 (LA). He was a loving husband, father, & Pawpaw. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Theresa Bozeman; children, Savannah (Dillon) Funk; Bryson (Hannah Wolfe) and Colin Evans; grandson, Beau Evans; granddaughter, Quinn Funk; sister, Diane (Joe) Graphia, brothers, Lamar, William, Robert (Linda Miller), James (Gloria), and Mitchell (Avay) Evans; and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clara & William Evans; his in-laws, Mary Charline and Francis Bozeman; two sisters, Linda Douthett and Paula Evans; a sister-in-law, Patricia Evans; nephew, Josh Evans; and niece, Heather Hauser. Services will be on 4/1 & 4/2 in Illinois.
