Baton Rouge, LA - Angela Scot Hixon, 57, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, with her family by her side. Scot was born on February 2nd, 1969, in Augusta, Georgia.
Scot is survived by her husband, Dr. Rufus Lester "Les" Hixon, III; three daughters, Katherine "Kate" Elaine Hixon Savoy (Tyler), Caroline Hixon Leggio (Brandon), and Anna Scot Hixon (Aaron); four grandchildren, Tyler Joseph "TJ" Savoy, Elaine Scot Leggio, Beau Ray Daniels, and Scottie Evelyn Daniels; mother, Martha Hickman Ostendorff of Augusta, Georgia; father, David Alan Ostendorff, Sr. (Judy) of Greenville, South Carolina; brother, David Alan Ostendorff, Jr. (Stacy); nephew Dylan, and niece Elizabeth of Augusta, Georgia.
Visiting hours will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. All are welcome to attend services at 3:00 pm and the burial following. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Louisiana Pediatric Cardiology Foundation (LPCF).
