Central, LA - Angela D'Agostino Guarino passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 11, 1939, in Baton Rouge, LA, Her family was her greatest joy and accomplishment. She was also proud of her 40+ years in real estate, where she was known for her professionalism and kindness to all who knew her. If you were a friend of her children or grandchildren, you were a friend of hers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Angie D'Agostino, and her brother, Sammy D'Agostino. Angela is survived by her husband of 67 years, Tommy Guarino; her daughters, Carmie Berry and Geri Guarino; her grandchildren, Joseph Berry (Lauren), Jamie Purpera (Jeff), Jasen Berry (Elizabeth), and Kate Peake (Carter); and her beloved great-grandchildren: Cruz Bridges, Gianna Purpera, Andrew Purpera (Sarah), Leslie Claire Purpera, Joey Berry, Michael Berry, Beau Berry, Jeb Berry, Clements Berry, Bryce Peake, and Ella Grace Peake. She is also survived by her sisters, Toni Chenevert and Rose Mary Jeansonne, and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Wanda Henderson, Dr. Ralph Millett, Dr. Melissa Love and Dr. William Russell, as well as the staff at Audubon Hospice. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm, followed by Mass at noon. Burial will follow at St. George Catholic Cemetery.
