St. James, La - Albert "Chief" Broden, Sr. born on January 12, 1951 to the late Walter and Viola Broden. He gained his wings on April 11, 2026 at 12:58am peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Patricia Broden of 55 years, his two children, Alicia Dumas and Albert Broden, Jr. (Christyle). Five grandkids, Eric Howard, Jr., Quinden and Anayah Dumas, Aleya and Calli Broden. Four great grandkids, Ariella and Tatum Howard and Ashtin and Arlynn Floyd. Two step grandkids, Mykel Dumas and Kammora Esther.

One sister, Mary Broden and one brother, Warren (Angela) Broden. Five sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law. Seven godchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
